SCRF Rolls Out New Chair and Board Members
Fresh faces and new blood are always important to keep a successful organization moving forward, and that’s what happening at The State Chamber Research Foundation. SCRF leaders are excited to welcome five new members to its board of directors and a new chair, Kristen Peck.
Kristen Peck is a talented, long-time Oklahoma business executive. Currently, she is the Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at The Rausch Companies. Prior to her current role, she spent 22 years as a high ranking executive with Cox Communications. Peck was also Chair of The State Chamber Board of Directors from 2020-2022. As chair, Peck is committed to making data the driver for decisions on how to move our economy and our state forward.
“There are certainly no shortage of opinions in terms on what is right for the state of Oklahoma. So what’s so important about the Research Foundation is we look at the data,” Peck said. “We really need to find out what the research says. What is scientific versus what is opinion. The State Chamber Research Foundation is really going to look at that data to help us make the best decisions possible.”
“We are so lucky to have Kristen as our board chair. She has a vision for Oklahoma. She has strong ties throughout the state, and her past experience as Chair of The State Chamber makes her a true asset to our organization,” said Jake Yunker, SCRF Executive Director. “Not only does she have a deep understanding of our chamber membership, but she brings the experience, vision, and leadership that makes her an exceptional choice for board chair.”
The Research Foundation is also proud to welcome five new Oklahoma leaders to the Board of Directors.
- G.T. Bynum, Former Tulsa Mayor and VP of Government Affairs for Saint Francis Health System
- Allen Wright, Vice President of Advancement at UCO
- Tom Biolchini, CEO and Chairman of Vast bank
- Steph Phipps, Business Professor at OSU
- Mark Nichols, Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at Koch Industries
“We’re very appreciative to have five new directors on our State Chamber Research Foundation Board,” said Dana Gillette, SCRF Deputy Director. “They each bring unique expertise that will help move our mission forward. This group is perfect for us because they bring business, politics and education experience which will be very valuable to our board. Their fresh ideas and experiences will bring great value to our board moving forward.
