Leadership Exchange Academy Welcomes a New Cohort of State Leaders
The State Chamber Research Foundation hosted its annual Leadership Exchange Academy (LEA), presented by AAON, on June 12–13 and July 17–18. The LEA cohort consisted of 44 Oklahomans with a passion to learn more about policy and politics affecting the business community and free enterprise. Each two-day meeting connected these civic-minded professionals with state government, nonprofit, and business leaders.
“Thoughtful engagement plays a vital role in advancing Oklahoma,” said Jake Yunker, Executive Director of the Oklahoma State Chamber Research Foundation. “Throughout both LEA sessions, leaders from various regions of Oklahoma examined key aspects of state government, including education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and infrastructure. I am confident that each cohort participant will utilize the insights gained to contribute to our state’s progress.”
Cohort participant Brian Beller of Norman remarked on the experience, stating, “It is truly inspiring to interact with such outstanding leaders. I look forward to the positive impact we will have on Oklahoma.”
In addition to the policy meetings, the conference featured the 2025 LEA Cohort & Alumni Networking Reception at Vast in Downtown Oklahoma City. Kristin Peck, SCRF Board President and Vice President of Public & Government Affairs for Raush Enterprises, welcomed attendees by stating, “Engagement is critical to create the future we want for our State, not only for business but for the quality of life for future generations. This cohort of leaders has proven they are in this for the long haul. They know collaboration, education, tough conversations, and making difficult decisions is the only way of following the true North Star of doing what is right for Oklahoma.”
Applications for the next Leadership Exchange Academy Cohort will open in February 2026.
